MAMPONG TECHNICAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION CELEBRATES 17TH CONGREGATION, CHAMPIONING PRACTICAL SKILLS FOR THE 21ST CENTURY

Mampong Technical College of Education (MAMTECH) proudly hosted its 17th Congregation ceremony on Friday, July 4, 2025, a momentous occasion celebrating the academic achievements of its graduating class. The vibrant ceremony, held at the college campus, underscored MAMTECH’s unwavering commitment to fostering practical skills and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

The central theme for this year’s congregation, “Bridging Theory and Practice through Technical Education in the 21st Century,” resonated deeply throughout the event, reflecting the evolving demands of the global workforce and MAMTECH’s dedication to preparing highly skilled graduates.

The esteemed ceremony was graced by Professor Frederick Kwaku Sarfo, the distinguished Vice-Chancellor of Akenten Appiah-Menkah University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), who served as the Chairman for the occasion. His presence highlighted the strong collaborative ties between MAMTECH and AAMUSTED, further cementing the college’s standing within the tertiary education landscape.

The graduating class had the distinct privilege of hearing from the eminent Professor Humphrey Danso, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies at AAMUSTED, who delivered a compelling address as the Guest Speaker. Professor Danso eloquently expounded on the congregation’s theme, “Bridging Theory and Practice through Technical Education in the 21st Century.” His insightful presentation emphasized the critical importance of hands-on experience, innovation, and adaptability for today’s technical professionals, inspiring the graduates to leverage their acquired skills to make significant contributions to society.
