Our Core mandate is to train students to improve upon their living standards in order to adequately fit into the community in which they live. That is, personal hygiene, safety issues, human right issues and the constitution of Ghana.

PROGRAMMES
All the programs under our department are core subjects. It means that, it is mandatory for every student offering 4-Year B.Ed. to do all the courses under Arts and Social Sciences in addition to their chosen fields of study (Electives). Please note well that all our courses are Three (3) credit hours.
