HANDING OVER CEREMONY: PRINCIPAL OF MAMPONG TECHNICAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION MAMPONG, ASHANTI  

In an impressive but brief ceremony held at the principal’s office, the administration of Mampong Technical College of Education was formally handed over from the outgoing Principal, Mrs. Doris Boakye-Ansah, to the acting Principal, Mr. Anthony Kwasi Frempong. The handover, effective from September 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025, marks a new chapter in the leadership of the college.

The ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including college management and some administrative staff, who witnessed the smooth transition of power.

In her address, Mrs. Boakye-Ansah expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to have served the college and its community. She highlighted some of the key achievements during her tenure and extended her best wishes to the new leadership. She underscored the importance of continuity and collaboration for the sustained growth of the college.

In a poignant moment of the ceremony, Mrs. Boakye-Ansah officially passed on the administrative baton to Mr. Frempong. She offered some words of counsel, urging him to uphold the highest form of professionalism, integrity, and dedication in his new role. “The mantle of leadership is a call to service,” she remarked, “I am confident that you will rise to the occasion and steer the affairs of this college with the excellence it deserves.”

Responding, Mr. Anthony Kwasi Frempong expressed his sincere appreciation to Mrs. Boakye-Ansah for her remarkable leadership and invaluable guidance. He acknowledged the weight of the responsibility entrusted to him and pledged his commitment to build on the solid foundation laid by his predecessor. He further assured the staff and stakeholders of his dedication to fostering an environment of academic excellence, innovation, and teamwork. “I am humbled by this opportunity,” Mr. Frempong stated, “and I look forward to working closely with all members of the college community to continue our mission of providing quality technical and professional education.”

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from the Ag. Vice Principal, followed by a brief reception. The event was a testament to the college’s commitment to seamless transitions and a culture of mutual respect and professionalism.
